Caring for your hair between visits

A treatment is an hour. What you do in the days after it is what makes the result last.

1. Give it forty-eight hours

After a scalp treatment, keratin or colour, the first two days are when everything settles. Wash less, tie less, and avoid heavy styling products.

2. Wash the scalp, condition the ends

Shampoo belongs at the roots, conditioner belongs from the mid-lengths down. Reversing the two is the most common reason hair feels flat and roots feel greasy.

3. Rinse cooler than feels natural

Hot water strips oil the scalp needs, then the scalp overproduces to compensate. A cooler final rinse also closes the cuticle, which is where shine comes from.

4. Protect against heat and sun

Jeddah sun and daily heat styling do the same thing: they dehydrate. A light leave-in or oil on the ends before you leave the house is enough.

5. Book rhythm, not rescue

Hair responds to consistency. Every four to six weeks keeps a scalp balanced; waiting until something feels wrong means starting over each time.

Ask your therapist to write down a home routine at your next visit — we tailor it to your scalp type, not to a product line.
